Fantastic Fables is this year's theme for the Maude Adams Theater Hub's Theater Explorers. This is a two week program that encompasses a wide range of theatrical practices, and focuses on educational and devised theater. In Week One, your child will write, direct, produce, and star in a play they've entirely crafted themselves, using famous fables as a framework. They will learn how to use their breath and their bodies to tell stories and guide an audience. We will also feature several special guests teaching singing, dance, set design, and many more theatrical and artistic practices. This week will culminate in an open performance for friends and family, so be sure to mark your calendars for August 7th!

Week Two will have a more intense focus on artistic development, providing actionable tools and methods you child can utilize on and off the stage. From specific acting techniques like Meisner and Uta Hagen, to movement and speech techniques like Laban and Linklater, your young artists will leave well equipped and ready to perform. This intensive will also feature guests and a final performance on August 14th. 

Fee: $240 + $35 Non-Refundable Registration Fee

SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE!

Scholarships are available to students enrolled at Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School or Hunter-Tannersville Central School Districts.

To apply you will need to provide a copy of the student's most recent report card or school evaluation and a recommendation letter from a teacher.

Scholarship requests must be received by June 15, 2026
